COMPAS Charity is a vibrant, community-focused organisation based in Peterborough, dedicated to building stronger, more inclusive communities both locally and beyond. Since 2010, we have worked with people of all backgrounds, offering support, education, and opportunities that promote integration, mutual understanding, and social cohesion.
Our services include:
- Early years education for children and families
- Youth development programmes to empower young people
- Adult learning opportunities to support lifelong growth
- Support for families and older people to reduce isolation and foster wellbeing
At the heart of our work is the Peterborough Cultural Centre, a welcoming hub that celebrates diversity, creativity, and intercultural dialogue. The Centre hosts exhibitions, community events, and provides inclusive spaces for learning and connection.
We also run a range of projects, including:
- Frontline advocacy and policy engagement
- Arts, culture, and heritage initiatives such as the Baripen Roma Archive
- Advice and support services for individuals and families
Our aim is to empower individuals, celebrate diversity, and create a sense of belonging for everyone. We are committed to breaking down barriers, tackling inequality, and fostering mutual understanding among all communities.
Everyone is welcome at COMPAS. Whether you are seeking support, looking to get involved, or want to learn more about our projects, we invite you to connect with us and become part of our inclusive community.
