RCC (Rural Community Council), Changing Connections Project

Changing Connections is a community-focused service delivered by the Rural Community Council (RCC) and funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. Our mission is to support individuals in Melton Borough and Rutland by enhancing their mental and physical health, helping them build stronger community networks, and fostering a sense of belonging.

We connect people with local groups, services, and each other to create a resilient and supportive community for those who need it most.

  • Community Events: Our Coffee Connect Vans pop up informal social spaces for people to meet, chat, and try new activities in a friendly, welcoming environment.
  • One to One Keywork: Sally and Ruth are available to work one-to-one with individuals who need extra help and support, offering tailored guidance and encouragement.
  • Community Groups: We help develop and strengthen local networks and groups that offer social activities and peer support, making it easier to connect with others and find companionship.

Whether you want updates on our work, to attend our events, or seek support, we would love to connect with you. Together, we can build stronger, more connected rural communities.
