Health Work Life

We are Natalie Gadsby and Annelies Franklin, specialist occupational therapists with over 40 years combined NHS experience working with people with mental health and/or long term conditions.  We are trained at post-graduate level to have a deep understanding of the importance occupations have to health.  We enable the people we work with to build healthy routines, develop skills to support positive daily habits and relationships.

Together we have established Health Work Life Occupational Therapy to provide a holistic, person centred occupational therapy service to enable you to get back to doing the things that are important to you - whether returning to work, hobbies, or day to day activities.  We specialise in enabling those with complex long term health conditions that span physical and mental health to retain or regain function in order to thrive in life and/or at work.

Examples of conditions that we are skilled in working with include:
- anxiety/depression
- more complex mental health diagnoses often associated with complex trauma
- neurodiverse conditions
- Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)
- Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME (CFS/ME)
- autoimmune conditions
- Post Covid Syndrome

We will work with you, to enable you to develop the knowledge and skills you need to improve your health and wellbeing and get back to doing the things that are important to you. If returning to work is important to you, we will help you to communicate with your employer about your condition and suggest adjustments that might help you in your workplace.
