Young refugee women's support group
Verified service

After18’s Young Women’s Support Group is a welcoming space for asylum seeking and refugee young women, including those who have experienced trafficking. The group meets every Friday evening at our Leicester city-centre hub.

We focus on building confidence and reducing isolation by encouraging members to take part in a variety of creative and wellbeing activities. These activities are chosen and led by the young women themselves, ensuring the group is responsive to their interests and needs.

Additional support is available for students studying Health and Social Care at college, including homework help and access to opportunities that can help them progress in this field.
