Feeling overwhelmed? You're not alone.
The challenges of navigating a world that isn't always understanding can take its toll. At SSHC, we recognise the unique experiences of the LGBTQ+ community and offer a safe and supportive space to explore your feelings and concerns. Our specialised LGBTQ+ counselling services are designed to help you:
- Cope with discrimination, prejudice, and stigma.
- Explore your identity and build self-acceptance.
- Navigate coming out and relationships.
- Address mental health challenges like anxiety and depression.
Our counsellors are here to listen without judgement.
All of our counsellors are accredited members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) or an equivalent professional organisation. They are all familiar with LGBTQ+ issues, with many being LGBTQ+ themselves. All out counsellors adhere to a strict ethical framework, ensuring your confidentiality and safety.
We offer flexible options to suit your needs.
We offer sessions at our main office in Stoke-on-Trent, various locations throughout Staffordshire, and via telephone or video (Teams) for your convenience.
Take the first step towards a brighter future.
