Create:Connect

Create:Connect is a regular programme of creative courses designed to help you manage your mental health through creativity. Taught by professional artists, our sessions focus on learning new skills, having fun, meeting new people, and rediscovering your creative side.

What we offer:

  • Free creative courses in theatre, visual arts, textiles, and more
  • Safe, supportive, and non-judgemental environment
  • Peer support and opportunities to build confidence and self-worth
  • Sessions available in Poole, Hamworthy, Weymouth, and Online

Our courses are open to anyone who feels that being creative would support their mental health. Key-workers, support staff, and carers are always welcome to join in sessions.

Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis and often book up quickly. We will contact you to confirm your place and provide all the information you need before the first class.

Create:Connect courses are open to people who have experienced mental health challenges as part of recovery, maintenance, and prevention community support.

We work inclusively and aim to meet additional access needs related to disability or neurodivergence - contact us to discuss.
We cannot provide 1-1 support.
