WorkWell Fenland is a free, voluntary service for anyone whose physical or mental health is making it difficult to find or keep a job.
Whether you are unemployed, struggling in your current role, or planning a return to work, our specialist work and health coaches are here to support you. Accessing WorkWell Fenland will not affect any benefits you may be receiving.
Who can use this service?
- You are aged 16 or over
- You have the right to work in the UK
- You live in Fenland or are registered with a GP or JobCentre Plus in Fenland
- You have a health-related issue (physical or mental) affecting your ability to work
How does it work?
- You'll be partnered with a dedicated work and health coach
- We take time to understand your personal circumstances
- We identify the support you need and connect you to the right local or national services
Support areas include:
- Employment advice & job support
- Skills development & training
- Health and wellbeing services
- Financial & debt advice
- Housing support
- Carer support
- Home adaptations
- Support with substance misuse
- Help with domestic abuse or relationship challenges
WorkWell Fenland is a government-funded initiative delivered by Fenland District Council, in partnership with local health and employment services. It is supported by the NHS and funded by UK Government.
Employers: We also support businesses to help employees stay well and productive. Our team works alongside your HR or occupational health offers, providing expert advice and free resources.
There is no cost to use WorkWell Fenland.
