West Mercia Women's Aid (WMWA) provides comprehensive support for anyone affected by domestic abuse across Herefordshire, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Worcestershire.
Our services are designed to help women, children, young people, and men find safety, recover, and rebuild their lives free from violence and abuse. We offer:
- Domestic Abuse Helplines – Free, confidential advice and support, available 7am–10pm weekdays and 9am–5pm weekends and bank holidays.
- Refuge accommodation – Safe places for those escaping abuse.
- Recovery support – Ongoing help to rebuild confidence and independence.
- Children & Young People’s services – Specialist support for young people and their families.
- Independent Domestic Violence Advisors – Advocacy and practical help navigating services and legal options.
- Counselling & Therapy – Emotional support to help you heal.
- Support for men – Dedicated help for male survivors.
- Training & Consultancy – For professionals and organisations.
