Barnards Green Cricket Club is a welcoming, community-focused cricket club offering opportunities for players of all ages and abilities. Founded in 1934, the club is proud to be a designated ECB focus club and has achieved ClubMark Accreditation, ensuring high standards of safety, effectiveness, and child-friendliness.
What we offer:
- Junior training every Wednesday at 6.30pm
- Senior training every Thursday at 5.30pm
- Competitive teams for all levels, including 1st XI in Premier Division One, 2nd XI in Worcester County League Div 1, and 3rd/4th XI in Divisions 7 and 9
- Full fixture list for boys, girls, men, and women, from Under 8s to seniors
- Excellent playing facilities at North End Lane and Newland grounds, including multiple pitches, practice areas, and modern amenities
- Hospitality facilities: meeting rooms, catering, social and bar areas, ample parking, and a clubhouse open daily
- Community engagement: venue for local events, Dementia Cafe, and support for community groups
Visitors and spectators are always welcome. The club hosts around 60 senior and 60 youth matches each season, welcoming over 2000 visiting players. We also host representative games at county and regional level, including blind and physical disability international matches.
