BHT Sussex is a leading housing association and homeless charity, providing essential services to people across Brighton & Hove, Eastbourne, Hastings, and the wider Sussex area.
We offer a wide range of support, including:
- Homelessness prevention and support – helping people find and keep safe accommodation, and challenging the causes of homelessness and poverty.
- Specialist advice and guidance – including housing, benefits, immigration, and legal advice services tailored to local needs.
- Mental health and wellbeing services – supporting recovery, emotional wellbeing, and providing supported housing for those with mental health needs.
- Addiction services – offering detox support, recovery projects, and ongoing help for people affected by substance misuse.
- Work, learning, and employment programmes – helping people access training, work placements, and employment opportunities.
- Day centres and floating support – including First Base Day Centre and East Sussex Floating Support Service, providing practical help and a safe space for those in need.
Our services are designed to promote positive change, create opportunities, and support people to overcome challenges. We work with individuals and families facing homelessness, poverty, mental health issues, addiction, and other barriers to wellbeing.
