BUILD is a free project from Voluntary Action LeicesterShire (VAL) that helps individuals overcome barriers to education, training, and employment.
We offer personal coaching sessions in your local area to help you build confidence, develop new skills, and gain valuable experience. Our friendly team will work with you to:
- Boost your confidence and motivation
- Support you in creating or updating your CV
- Help you complete job searches and applications
- Guide you through retraining or accessing further education
- Explore volunteering opportunities
- Support your journey into self-employment
Who can benefit?
- Anyone looking for help to gain employment
- Individuals who want to retrain or access further education
- People interested in volunteering or self-employment
- There is no age limit for this project
How does it work?
- Self-referral is welcome – you can contact us directly
- VCSE organisations and education providers can refer individuals aged 19+
- We work with local groups to share opportunities and fill volunteering roles
Areas covered: Bagworth, Markfield, Ratby & surrounding villages; Ibstock, Measham, Nailstone & surrounding villages; Mountsorrel, Thurmaston, Sileby & surrounding villages.
