BUILD is a free project from Voluntary Action LeicesterShire (VAL) that helps individuals overcome barriers to education, training, and employment.

We offer personal coaching sessions in your local area to help you build confidence, develop new skills, and take positive steps towards your goals. Whether you want to find a job, update your CV, retrain, access further education, or explore volunteering and self-employment, BUILD is here to support you.

  • One-to-one coaching to boost your confidence and skills
  • Support with job searches and CV writing
  • Guidance for retraining or accessing further education
  • Opportunities to get involved in volunteering
  • Help for those interested in self-employment

We also work with VCSE groups and education providers to help them refer individuals aged 19+ (no upper age limit) and fill volunteering roles. Individuals can self-refer to the BUILD project.

  • Ibstock, Measham, Nailstone & surrounding villages
  • Mountsorrel, Thurmaston, Sileby & surrounding villages

Participants must be live in, or within 3 miles of one of the following villages, Measham, Ibstock, Nailstone, Markfield, Ratby, Bagworth, Mountsorrel, Thurmaston, Sileby
