Counselling Plus

Counselling Plus offers professional, confidential counselling and support services for adults and young people aged 16 and over in Hastings, Rother, and East Sussex.

Our service is designed for individuals who are on benefits or a low income, providing accessible mental health support in a safe and welcoming environment. We welcome clients from all backgrounds and are committed to equality and inclusion.

  • One to One Counselling: Personalised sessions for adults and young people to explore emotional difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.
  • Specialist Counselling: Support for those affected by sexual assault, rape, domestic violence, and abuse, delivered by trained counsellors in partnership with the Saturn Centre.
  • Anger Management Groups: Structured 6-week group courses for anyone over 16, helping to understand and manage anger in a supportive setting.
  • Couple Counselling: Up to 6 sessions (including assessment) for couples experiencing relationship difficulties. Both partners must attend every session.
  • Support for Survivors of Suicide: Free, timely counselling for anyone affected by suicide, including those who are struggling, have attempted suicide, or are supporting someone else. One to one and group support is available, as well as telephone counselling where appropriate.

How to Access: All appointments are booked by telephone. A limited number of sessions are also available in Bexhill, Rye, and Northiam.

Cost: Services are available to those on benefits or a low income. Please call for details about eligibility and any fees.

Opening Hours: Monday – Thursday, 10am to 7pm.
