Love to Move is a unique, age and dementia friendly seated gymnastics programme from the British Gymnastics Foundation, designed to help older people and those living with dementia improve their physical, emotional, and cognitive wellbeing.
Our programme is fun, accessible, and proven to make a difference. It carefully integrates gymnastic foundation skills, cognitive stimulation therapy, and social interaction activities. The exercises use bilaterally asymmetrical movement patterns, which help both sides of the brain process information independently—supporting better coordination, cognitive function, and independence in daily living.

Love to Move is suitable for individuals, carers, and groups. Research by Age UK shows demonstrable benefits for older people, especially those with mild to advanced dementia.
