MS Swale is an independent local charity which aims to support people living with long term neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia, Stroke, Brain injury, Spinal injury & Parkinson's.
We support our members and their carers to improve their physical and mental well-being through information provision, social inclusion, social activities, and low impact sport.
We have free monthly support meetings the second Thursday of every month at Swale Indoor Bowls Club (SIBC), Vicarage Road, Sittingbourne, ME102BL. Meetings start at 1pm. However, many of our members arrive early and have lunch at our cafe 'The Mix and Bowl'.
We have numerous social events throughout the year such as day trips, garden parties, quiz nights, fun days, and guest speakers.
On Friday's MS Swale meet 12pm-1.30pm to play indoor para-bowls. All equipment is provided including specialist wheelchairs, rollators, and walking sticks. There is a cost of £2.00 per session and 5 indoor bowls coaching sessions will be provided free of charge after which you can choose to become a full or social member of SIBC.
On Saturday mornings at 11.30am we have Archery at The Sittingbourne School. The cost is £3.00 per session and all equipment is provided.
