Would it help to spend time with other bereaved adults who understand what grief can feel like?
Grief Kind Spaces are informal, in-person peer-to-peer support sessions for adults who have been bereaved. Sessions are held in local community venues; Sue Ryder says many spaces are now independently run by local communities, with volunteers helping people talk and find other support when needed.
- Safe, welcoming place to share experiences of grief
- Talk with others in a similar situation, or listen until you feel ready
- Peer-to-peer support in a local community setting
- Volunteers facilitate sessions and can signpost to other support
- Local availability varies because spaces are community run
