WorkWell provides early-intervention work and health assessments and light-touch, low-intensity support. It offers tailored help to address work and health needs, overcome employment barriers, and provides general support, information, guidance, and connections to other services. The service includes expert assessments and personalised action plans, with access to local clinical and non-clinical support such as mental health services, physiotherapy, and financial advice. Practical support for employers, including guidance on reasonable adjustments and workplace wellbeing strategies, is also available. WorkWell is for individuals aged 16 and over who live or are registered with a GP in Herefordshire or Worcestershire, have the right to work in the UK, and are experiencing health-related barriers to employment. It supports those in work, needing to return to work, or who have been out of work for up to six months. The service is delivered via telephone and offers additional face-to-face work and health coaching if required. Individuals can refer themselves directly, or be referred by their GP, Jobcentre Plus, or employers.
