Our friendly team can support you with:
- Benefit checks – making sure you’re receiving your full entitlement
- Guidance on which benefits to claim and how to apply
- Support if your payments are suspended or your claim ends
- Help moving to Universal Credit
- Challenging decisions made by benefit authorities, including preparing appeals and representing you at tribunal hearings
If you disagree with a benefits decision, time limits usually apply, so please seek advice as soon as possible.

- Call 01629 531535 (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, 10am–12pm and 2pm–4pm)
- Print and post the benefit check sheet to: Welfare Rights Service, County Hall Offices, Matlock, DE4 3AG
- If you have a social worker, you can ask them to make a referral
