Sew Positive - Ross Street City4 drop-in creative textiles

Sew Positive is a unique UK charity helping people mend, repair, upcycle and repurpose textiles to calm the mind, improve mental health, well-being and help our planet.

These drop-in weekly sessions will focus on creative textiles and sewing for mental health, run by Community Artist and creative tutor Peggy Mends, and supported by Sew Positive volunteers. They will be engaging, creative, user-led and you don't need any sewing skills or prior art skills. It's about your own creative journey to support your wellbeing. This is a collaboration between Sew Positive and your GP surgery (through Social Prescribers), and information about your taking part will be shared with them so that they can assess the success of our programme with you.

We are running two Taster Sessions to try creative activities, meet the tutor and volunteers and sign up on:
- Thursday 15 August 10am-2.00pm
- Thursday 28 November 10am-2.00pm
