Right path hikes

Right Path Hikes is a welcoming community group based in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, dedicated to bringing together outdoor enthusiasts of all skill levels. Whether you are new to hiking and camping or have years of experience, our group offers a supportive and inclusive environment for you to enhance your skills, connect with nature, and meet like-minded people.

What We Offer:

  • Regular group hikes exploring beautiful local trails such as Combe Valley, The Highwoods, Bexhill beach, Crowhurst, Ninfield, and the surrounding countryside.
  • Workshops and training sessions covering backpacking essentials, navigation, first aid, food preparation, and other key hiking and camping skills.
  • Opportunities to share experiences, learn from others, and build confidence in the outdoors.
  • A friendly, knowledgeable community that encourages personal growth, wellness, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.

Who Can Join? All ages are welcome, including families and dog owners (please read The Dog Walking Code). Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

When & Where: We meet most Saturdays around 10:30am at The Pelham, Hollier’s Hill, Bexhill-on-Sea TN40 2DD, and walk in the local countryside.

What to Bring: Essential items include personal medication, sturdy walking boots/shoes, waterproofs, layers, sun cream, water (at least 1 litre), and a packed lunch. If you need help with kit, please get in touch.

Our Values: We foster camaraderie, empower members to volunteer and support each other, and share knowledge of local support. We are committed to safeguarding and protecting our members.

Affiliations: Right Path Hikes is a member of The British Mountaineering Council and the Mountain Training Association.
