OrangeLine

OrangeLine is Saint Francis Hospice’s telephone support line for local adults (18+) who may be bereaved, feeling lonely or isolated. It offers confidential, non-judgemental conversations to help you feel heard and connected, plus information and signposting to local services. The service can help you express how you’re feeling, understand what help is available nearby, and connect you with social or friendship groups. It also coordinates bereavement support activity in the community. You do not need to have any connection with Saint Francis Hospice to use OrangeLine. How to access: call 01708 758649 during opening hours (Monday to Friday 9am–5pm). Outside of these hours, an answering service will take your message and the team will respond on the next working day. Calls are charged at standard network/local rates, but there is no charge from OrangeLine for the service itself. In addition to the telephone line, OrangeLine runs in-person support groups (e.g. Carers Corner, Friendly Faces Bereavement Support Groups) at local venues; call for the latest details on venues and times. If you’re bereaved, lonely, or simply want someone to talk to, OrangeLine is here to listen and help you feel less isolated.
