Ageing Well is a series of weekly creative workshops designed to improve social connection, physical health, and mental wellbeing for older adults. Our sessions are dementia friendly and welcome people living with Parkinson's or other disabilities, as well as their carers.
We offer a variety of activities, including:
- Singing For Wellbeing: Enjoy familiar tunes, connect with others, and share a cuppa and a chat. Led by artist Karen Hill at Alcester Library (currently closed).
- Arts and Crafts with Jess and Aish: Free, mindful sessions for over 65s. Activities include canvas painting, bag design, marbling, printing, glass painting, collage, and card making. All abilities welcome, including those living with dementia or disabilities. Carers are encouraged to attend. Refreshments provided.
- Movement to Music in Kenilworth: Gentle movement sessions set to familiar tunes, suitable for all abilities (can be done seated). Includes one hour of movement and half an hour of social time, with refreshments. A great way to meet new friends and boost wellbeing.
