Mindful Threads: Creative Textiles & Sewing Workshops

Mindful Threads is a creative sewing and textiles series designed to support wellbeing through mindful making.

We invite you to take part in a series of six themed workshops, exploring techniques such as embroidery, fabric printing, macrame and decoupage — all using sustainable materials.

Each workshop offers a calm, welcoming space to learn new skills, connect with others and enjoy time for creativity and self-care. You can book individual weekly sessions or join for the full six-week series for a deeper experience.

These workshops are open to all adults aged 18+, especially those seeking to boost mood, reduce stress or meet new people in a relaxed, creative setting.

Free spaces are available by referral through the Joy Marketplace. Professionals and community connectors are welcome to refer directly through our Mindful Threads listing on Joy.
