Join our Sew Nation Coffee Morning Workshop!
Are you of Black African or Caribbean heritage and want to make a difference in your community? We’ve partnered with NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) to offer Sip & Sew sessions, raising awareness about the importance of blood donations within the Black African & Caribbean community in Medway and surrounding areas.
What to expect:
- Learn to sew a beautiful motif onto a tote bag from scratch – suitable for complete beginners and experienced sewers alike.
- Discover how you can help save lives through blood donation and understand the impact of black blood donation.
- Enjoy a friendly, creative atmosphere with refreshments available (donations welcome).
Who can attend?
- Open to ages 17 and above.
- All skill levels welcome.
How to book:
- Sessions cost £10.00 per person, payable on booking.
- Bookings are limited to one per person; repeat bookings will be cancelled.
- If you cannot attend, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance for a full refund. Cancellations after this period will forfeit your payment.
- Bookings are transferable – you may send someone in your place if you can no longer attend.
Location: Sew in Kent Studio, Unit 1 Tannery Court Business Center, Knight Road, ME2 2JH, Rochester.
