
Let's Get Digital, is a partnership between Adult Learning and Public Health. It offers friendly sessions where people who are not confident with using the internet are supported to learn how to meet their medical and social needs online. The sessions are delivered in locations all over the city.
They are two, three-hour long sessions which include:
• How to keep safe online.
• Downloading the NHS app (including 111) and exploring wellbeing apps.
• Logging onto GP surgeries, booking appointments, ordering medication.
• Using social media safely
• Downloading banking apps/ online shopping etc
• Accessing information/ online courses/ events relating to a hobby or interest of the person
The sessions are free and people are encouraged to use their own device, although one can be borrowed for the sessions if needed.
