Making Miracles offers specialist, personalised counselling for families in Kent & Medway who have experienced baby loss or birth trauma.

Our service is designed to help you understand and validate your trauma, feelings, and grief, supporting your mental and physical health as you move forward. We know that every experience of loss is unique, and our highly trained counsellors tailor their approach to your individual needs.

What we provide:

  • 6–8 funded online or face-to-face counselling sessions with specialists in baby loss and birth trauma
  • Short waiting times (counselling usually commences within 2 weeks)
  • In-house team support from people who have experienced their own trauma and loss
  • Access to private Facebook and WhatsApp support groups
  • Compassion Circles for ongoing peer support
  • Access to our podcast “Baby Loss, Grief & Love”

Our service is proven to help: most people enter with a wellbeing score of 2–3 out of 10 and leave at least an 8. We are here to reduce isolation and help you feel part of a supportive community.

How to access:

  • Complete the referral form on our website
  • Receive a call back to answer any questions and complete an application and wellbeing form
  • Our brochure will be sent via email
  • Once forms are complete, a counsellor will contact you directly to arrange sessions

We offer support for individuals, couples, grandparents, and play therapy for siblings. All support is free and tailored to your needs.

  • Events such as Baby Loss Awareness Week and Wave of Light
  • Baby Memorial Garden in Rochester, Kent
  • Memorial Bear and children’s book to support siblings
