The Medway, North and West Kent Macmillan Welfare Benefits Service offers free and confidential advice to people living with cancer, as well as their families and carers.

Our trained benefits advisors provide:

  • (including entitlement checks)
  • Advocacy and representation at tribunals
  • Help with filling out forms
  • Signposting to other services

We work in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support to ensure you get the help you need. If you or someone you care for is affected by cancer and needs support with welfare benefits, our team is here to help you understand your entitlements and guide you through the process.

Service access criteria:

Anyone with a current cancer diagnosis or their partner and/or carer can access our service. Patients will need to live in the following post code areas

• BR6 & BR8

• DA1 - DA13

• ME1 - ME9 and ME14 - ME20

• TN1 to TN4 and TN8 -TN18

And their local authority area is one of these areas

• Dartford Borough Council

• Gravesham Borough Council

• Maidstone Borough Council

• Medway Council

• Sevenoaks District Council

• Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council

• Tunbridge Wells Borough Council
