Little Hands

Little Hands is a specialist outreach service from Jigsaw4u, offering one-to-one Play Therapy for children aged 5–10 who have been affected by domestic abuse and are no longer living with the perpetrator.

Our experienced team works across South West London, supporting children to process difficult feelings, build resilience, and regain a sense of safety and calm. Through creative play and art activities, children are encouraged to express themselves in a safe, nurturing environment.

  • Who is it for? Children aged 5–10 who have experienced domestic abuse and are no longer living with the perpetrator.
  • How does it work? Sessions are delivered on an outreach basis, tailored to each child’s needs.
  • Where? Historically available in Merton, Sutton, Croydon, Wandsworth, Kingston, and Richmond-upon-Thames.
  • Current status: Little Hands is not currently a commissioned service and is operating at a reduced capacity. Please contact us for referral enquiries or to discuss commissioning support.

Our impact is reflected in the words of parents, teachers, and children:

  • “He was much calmer at home, less outbursts and found it easier to talk about not seeing his Dad anymore. Thank you Jigsaw4u.” – Parent
  • “Both children found it much easier to talk about their difficult feelings after their sessions which meant as a school we understood how better to support them.” – Teacher
  • “I liked doing the art activities best, my Jigsaw lady was really kind.” – Child
