This support group is designed for adults diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder or those in the process of being diagnosed. It provides a safe space to share experiences and receive guidance on managing the condition.
**What to Expect:**
- **Weekly Sessions:** Each meeting starts with a check-in, allowing members to reflect on their week.
- **Focus Areas:** Discussions center around managing mood swings, emotional regulation, and resilience-building.
- **Peer Support:** Members will help each other recognize early signs of phase changes, including depression or hypomania.
**Key Objectives:**
- **Early Detection and Intervention:** Help members identify signs of phase shifts for quicker recovery and reduced need for inpatient care.
- **Minimizing Risks:** Support strategies for managing depressive or hypomanic episodes to lessen harmful behaviors such as reckless spending or suicidal thoughts.
- **Ongoing Support:** Weekly in-person meetings ensure consistent support.
