Our Services in Age UK Tunbridge Wells we offer some paid for and some free services within Age UK
Advocacy: Our Advocacy service is designed to support and help older people to express their wishes and ensure their voice is heard.
Befriending & LGBTQ+ Befriending: We have volunteers with a diverse range of backgrounds and interests who are ready to befriend older people like themselves with common interests
Cognitive Stimulation Therapy: We run a series of fun and engaging activities for people living with dementia. These are designed to stimulate different areas of the brain.
Community Hot meals: Our hot lunch comes with a home cooked dessert and gets delivered between 12-14 five days per week, and can be with the addition of packed supper
Chiropody: Our specialists can examine your feet and treat a wide range of foot problems
Daycare and Dementia day care: Our centres can offer safe and stimulating environments for those who are socially isolated or those who are living with Dementia
Dementia Outreach: Our Dementia support service is designed for those clients living with dementia by offering activities on a one-one basis
Independent living Support service: Helping older people remain independent in their own homes by assisting with day-to-day living tasks
Information and Advice: Our confidential service offering information and advice on issues that concern older people.
Memory Cafe: Our free Memory Cafes offer a safe and calm environment to meet others living with dementia, share experiences, get information and advice, as well as to help you get out of the house and socialise.
