Green Hub Carlisle Upperby

Tucked away among the houses, Buchanan Place is a thriving food-growing site where individuals or small groups tend to their own micro plots and projects on the site. Open every Thursday from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, this space encourages everyone to get involved in gardening, whether you're a pro or a beginner. Volunteers care for plots, share knowledge, and grow fresh, local food, fostering a true sense of community.

What We’re Growing & Building:

- Seed planting, food growing (root vegetables, herbs)

- Compost bed building, eco-friendly irrigation

- Fruit tree management, planter construction, and more
