About
SEDS Connective is the first neurodivergent physical health charity.
We support children and young people in education, health, social care and employment to be believed.
We have UK-wide reach and present to the government on the physical issues of neurodivergence education which impact attendance and social, emotional and mental health.
What we do
- We actively support children, young people and adults with these conditions or symptoms, as well as their families, carers and allied professionals. You do not need a diagnosis.
- We can provide specialised expertise and experienced qualified support to families, carers, and allied professionals. Most of us have the conditions or symptoms ourselves.
- We provide meetings between educators and hypermobility and neurodivergence experts, in or out of schools.
- We advise Health Education England and speak widely for local authorities, health organisations and social care organisations.
- We link with universities and help write groundbreaking work on school attendance and attainment.
- We provide specialised hypermobility and neurodivergent talks, therapies, activities and equipment for children with symptomatic hypermobility and their close family members or carers.

Our users say
As an advisory teacher, I've met hundreds of young people with autism, few of whom were diagnosed with hypermobility. Many had anxiety, pain, gastric issues, fatigue, discomfort sitting still. All said "It's part of the autism sensory issues," until now.
