Sittingbourne Legends is a youth group running weekly for young people 8-18, who are level 2 threshold and low level 3.
The group will act as a safe, trauma-informed space for young people to;
- Increase confidence and self esteem
- Make new friendships
- Promote social connections with the community and with other young people experiencing similar disadvantages and vulnerabilities
- Improve school attendance/attainment
- Join day trips and overnight residential experiences
- Take part in educational activities/events
- Receive 1-2-1 mentoring guidance
- Positive diversions from anti-social behaviour and crime
- Independent living skills (cooking, budgeting)
- 16+ guidance for further/higher education and apprenticeships/employment/work experience
Ages: 8-18 who are level 2 threshold and low level 3. Displaying low level anxiety, low resilience, confidence, vulnerable, NEET or risk of becoming NEET. If you are not sure if the group setting is appropriate for the young person's needs please call us to discuss.
