Mourning Coffee bereavement group

Mourning Coffee is a welcoming support and befriending group for anyone who has recently experienced a bereavement. Run by the chaplaincy and bereavement departments of the local hospital, this group reaches out into the Barking, Havering, and Redbridge community to offer a safe space for those who are grieving.

Whether you have lost a loved one or are struggling to cope with your loss, you are invited to join others for coffee, conversation, and companionship. The group is open to all, providing a friendly environment to share experiences, find comfort, and connect with others who understand what you are going through.

  • Who can attend? Anyone who is recently bereaved, regardless of background or circumstance.
  • What to expect: Informal gatherings, supportive conversations, and a chance to meet others in similar situations.

There is no cost to attend. Just come along and join us for a cup of coffee and support.
