There's a warm welcome for everyone at Woodhatch Community Centre and a wide variety of activities for all ages. Whether you want to relax with friends over a coffee, keep fit and active, or try something new, pop along to see what's going on and meet the team.

Activities

  • Keep active with a fitness class, there's something for all abilities.
  • Get creative with our art classes or join a group for singing, card games, and much more.
  • Children's activities include stay and play for preschool children, Jingle bugs, and Multi sports and games. 
  • Visit our computer room for help to get connected to online services.

Food and drink

The "Down the Hatch" snack bar serves hot and cold drinks and freshly made cakes and bakes. You can also order lunch from a selection of dishes all prepared in our kitchen by our onsite Chef. 

Community Services

  • Get online - Do you need help with an IT issue? Support is offered with computer and iPad tuition available Monday to Thursday 10am to 12pm. Drop in and speak to a member of the team for more information. 
  • Hearing aid issues? - Get help with battery or tubing replacement on your hearing aid with our drop-in sessions 10am to 12pm on a Friday.

Community Support

  • Food club - A service for those struggling with the cost of living. To become a member and use the service please drop in on a Wednesday between 1pm and 2:15pm to see Charlie Griswood, our community development worker.   • Community fridge - Our community fridge is a space that brings people together to share food and prevent fresh food from going to waste. It's open to all and anyone can share or take food, including surplus from supermarkets, local food businesses, producers, households, gardens and allotments.

If you need a meeting room or somewhere to hold an event or celebration, we can help. We have five different sized rooms to hire to suit all occasions.
