A monthly free coffee morning for carers run by volunteers where they can meet other carers for a chat and share their experiences if they want to. We provide a listening ear and general help and information. There are regular talks by representatives from Carers Oxfordshire and Dementia Uk which are well attended. Carers can also talk with the professionals in private if they wish. We are supported by Millstream Surgery PPG and Benson library.
The meetings are on the first Thursday of the month in Benson library from 10:30 to midday. The library is closed to the public during these times. There is free parking available.
Anyone who looks after a friend or family member who cannot manage without them, and is unpaid, can register. This includes carers under the age of 18.
