Wellbeing to Work

The Old Needle Works Foundation offers a welcoming hub of community groups and wellbeing activities in the heart of Redditch, Worcestershire. Our centre is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, providing a safe and supportive space for people of all ages to connect, learn, and improve their mental health and wellbeing.

Weekly activities include:

  • Wellbeing to Work (Term Time Only): Support for those looking to improve their wellbeing and move towards employment.
  • YourSpace: A flexible drop-in space open from 11am to 7pm for social connection and support.
  • MOVEMENT4ME: Gentle movement and exercise sessions to boost physical and mental health.
  • Multi Agency Drop-in: Access advice and support from a range of local agencies.
  • Writing Workshop & Book Club (Healthy Mind Café): Creative sessions to inspire and connect.
  • Memory Bears (Term Time Only): Crafting keepsakes in a supportive group setting.
  • Social Sewing (Healthy Mind Café): Friendly sewing sessions for all abilities.
  • Men’s Social Connect: Dedicated space for men to meet and support each other.
  • Craft & Cuppa (Healthy Mind Café): Relaxed crafting with refreshments.
  • Relax with Clay & Relax with Art (Healthy Mind Café): Creative arts for relaxation and wellbeing.
  • Kirtsugi Hope Group: Support and hope through creative activities.

All activities are designed to foster connection, creativity, and wellbeing. Many sessions take place in our Healthy Mind Café, a friendly space to relax and meet others.

Who can attend? Our groups are open to everyone in the local community. Some sessions may be term-time only or have specific focus groups (e.g. men’s group), but most are drop-in and inclusive.

Cost: Most activities are free or low-cost. Please contact us for details about specific sessions.

How to join: Simply drop in during opening hours or contact us for more information. No referral needed.
