Safe Haven Service - MIND Coventry, Warwickshire & Worcestershire

Worcestershire Safe Haven offers compassionate telephone support and face-to-face appointments for adults in Worcestershire who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Our friendly team provides a listening ear, practical guidance, and support to help you manage difficult times and move towards better mental wellbeing.

Service highlights:

  • Open 7 days a week, 6pm–1am (last calls at 12:30am)
  • Based in Redditch town centre
  • Immediate telephone support and, where appropriate, same-evening face-to-face appointments
  • Self-referral available – just call us
  • Non-judgemental space to talk and be heard
  • Help to reduce immediate crisis and prevent harm
  • Advice and onward referrals to other specialist services
  • Support with coping strategies and tools to manage your mental health
  • Follow-up 'check-in' text the next day

  • Adults living in Worcestershire experiencing a mental health crisis
  • No need for a professional referral – you can call us directly

How to access:

  • Call 01905 600400 any evening between 6pm and 1am
  • After an initial phone call, you may be offered a face-to-face appointment the same night

Our aim is to help you in the moment, prevent unnecessary A&E visits, and support you towards safety and recovery.

Worcestershire Safe Haven provides telephone support and face-to-face appointments to Adult Worcestershire residents who are experiencing a mental health crisis.

Individuals can self-refer by calling 01905 600400. We aim to help vulnerable individuals there and then, prevent admissions to A&E or causing harm to yourself or others.
