Hastings Foodbank

Hastings Foodbank provides emergency food support for people in crisis across Hastings and Hawkhurst. If you are struggling to afford food, you can visit one of our foodbank centres listed below. To access food parcels, you must have a valid foodbank voucher issued by a local agency such as your health practitioner, school, housing association, Citizens Advice Bureau, or other statutory agency.

How to get help:

  • Obtain a foodbank voucher from a referral agency (e.g. Citizens Advice, schools, social workers, housing associations).
  • Bring your voucher to one of our foodbank centres during opening hours.

    Open Monday & Wednesday, 10:30am – 3:00pm
  • F4F Hawkhurst Foodbank
    Hawkhurst Baptist Church, Western Road, Hawkhurst TN18 4BT
    Open Wednesday, 1:00pm – 3:00pm
  • Downs Farm Community Centre
    Crowborough Road, Hastings, East Sussex TN35 5EE
    Open Friday, 10:30am – 1:00pm

Local transport: The Hastings Centre is a short walk from the Conquest Hospital bus stop. Please use any bus service that includes the Conquest Hospital.

Cost: All foodbank services are free of charge for those in need.

Additional support: If you are isolating, let your referrer know so that food can be delivered to you.
