Join our free Walking Rugby sessions every Sunday morning!
Walking Rugby is a fun, friendly, and inclusive way to get active, meet new people, and enjoy the social benefits of team sport. Sessions run from 9:30am to 10:30am most Sundays at the Recreation Ground and are completely free to attend.
This activity is especially suitable for over 50s, anyone looking to return to sport at a slower pace, and those recovering from injury. Men and women play together in a welcoming environment, with the same rules as standard rugby—just without the running or high-impact movements.
- Enjoy gentle exercise and boost your physical and mental wellbeing
- Make new friends and connect with others in your community
- Play at your own pace—no experience needed
- Fully inclusive and open to all abilities
Walking sports are growing in popularity and offer a great way to stay active, improve morale, and have fun in a supportive group.
