Midaye Somali Development Network is a vibrant community organisation dedicated to supporting and empowering migrant communities, especially those from BAME backgrounds, across West London.
We offer a wide range of free and culturally sensitive services for local residents, including:
- Advice & Information in Arabic and Somali, helping with housing, benefits, legal issues, and more.
- Mental health support through peer groups, counselling (including Somali and Arabic counselling), and specialist projects like Journey of Hope for women.
- Parent & Carer Champions – empowering parents and carers to tackle youth crime and violence.
- FGM / VAWG Support – providing sensitive help for victims and survivors.
- Weekly activities for all ages: English classes, sewing, yoga, football for children, coffee clubs, support groups, and more.
- Supplementary School and language classes for children and young people.
