Black Country Job Support

Black Country Job Support is dedicated to helping people across the Black Country find work, stay in employment, and overcome barriers related to health, disability, and wellbeing.

We offer a range of free services, including:

  • IPS (Individual Placement and Support): Specialist support for individuals experiencing mental health issues to find and retain employment.
  • Retention: Helping people with mental health challenges stay in work or return after absence.
  • Thrive into Work: One-to-one support for people with health conditions, including neurodiversity services for autism and ADHD, to find and keep sustainable jobs.
  • Walsall Bridges: Tailored employment and vocational support to help you move closer to your employment, training, or volunteering goals.
  • Let's Talk: Individual and group support, both face-to-face and virtual, to overcome social isolation and loneliness.
  • RISE: Community support to build confidence, emotional resilience, and manage anxiety for a meaningful future.
  • Volunteering Service: Connects individuals with volunteering opportunities, including training to boost skills and confidence.
  • Talking Therapies Employment Service: Support for those accessing NHS Talking Therapies who are seeking work or need help staying employed.
  • WorkWell: Support for anyone with a health condition or disability to return/remain in work, find employment, and access local services.

Our services are available across Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall, Wolverhampton, and the wider Black Country region. We work with you to understand your needs and connect you to the right support, whether you are looking for a job, need help staying in work, or want to build confidence and skills through volunteering.

Access is free and open to anyone in the Black Country who needs help with employment, training, or wellbeing.
