Kensington and Chelsea Over 50s Forum

The Kensington and Chelsea Over 50s Forum is the largest independent older people's forum in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. We are dedicated to creating an environment where older residents are active partners in decisions that affect their lives.

We offer a wide range of activities designed to enrich the lives of people aged 50 and over, including opportunities to participate in shaping local policies and services. Our work helps to alleviate social isolation and empowers older residents to gain confidence and influence decision-making processes in the community.

With a diverse membership of over 2,500 people, we actively contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of local services for older people. We also host weekly get-togethers, Tai Chi classes, mindfulness sessions, and health and wellbeing events to support our members' physical and mental health.

  • Open to all residents aged 50 and over in Kensington & Chelsea
  • Opportunities to join, volunteer, and participate in community events
  • Support for social inclusion, health, and wellbeing
  • Recipient of the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service 2017
