Latimer Community Art Therapy (LCAT) is a grassroots community organisation offering accessible, professional mental health support through art psychotherapy. We provide a range of community services and activities designed to nurture creativity, physical, social, and emotional development for people of all ages.
Our base at the Henry Dickens Community Centre is an inclusive, safe, and inspirational space for everyone. Evolving from the tragedy of Grenfell, LCAT brings substantial firsthand experience in community recovery and post-disaster support, with a strong therapeutic foundation in all our service areas.
Our services include:
- Henry Dickens Community Centre – Young People and Community Services: Safe, playful spaces, peer support, and community-led initiatives.
- LCAT in Schools – Art Psychotherapy: Referral-based formal psychotherapy support for children and young people.
- LCAT in the Community – Art Psychotherapy: Accessible art therapy for individuals and groups in various community settings.
We offer both formal psychotherapy and informal, creative community activities, supporting recovery, wellbeing, and connection. Our team includes 24 qualified art psychotherapists working across 20 locations, serving over 468 service users.
