Time Out Clubs are friendly, welcoming half-day sessions designed for people living with dementia and their caregivers in the Lichfield and Tamworth area.
We currently run two clubs, each offering up to 15 places, operating 48 weeks per year:
- Elford Village Hall (B79 9DA): Wednesdays, 10:00am – 1:00pm
- St Peter's Church and Community Centre (Glascote Heath, B77 2HH): Thursdays, 1:30pm – 4:30pm
On arrival, everyone is greeted and invited to enjoy coffee, tea, and biscuits. The first half-hour is dedicated to making attendees feel welcome and safe. Caregivers are welcome to stay or leave those they care for in our charge.
Our enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and trained volunteers provide support and encouragement throughout each session. Attendees are encouraged to socialise and participate in a variety of activities, including:
- Exercises
- Games
- Arts and crafts
- Singing and playing music
We offer one-to-one support care where necessary, ensuring everyone feels included and supported.
Cost: £60 per month, including refreshments. Payment is made via Standing Order to our bank account.
