Place2Be is a leading UK children’s mental health charity with over 30 years’ experience supporting pupils, families, and school staff. We provide mental health support in schools through one-to-one and group counselling, using methods backed by research and evidence.
Our services are designed to help children and young people build resilience, improve emotional wellbeing, and thrive both in and out of the classroom. We work closely with schools to offer:
- In-school mental health services for pupils, staff, and parents/carers
- One-to-one and group counselling sessions
- Expert training and professional qualifications for those wishing to become child counsellors
- Resources and support for schools, including mental health resources and The Art Room
We also offer free online mental health training and bursaries for eligible candidates pursuing counselling qualifications. Our impact is supported by research, and we are committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion in all our work.
Place2Be operates across the UK, with dedicated teams in England, Scotland, and Wales. We believe no child should face mental health problems alone, and we’re here to help every step of the way.
