Baraka Community Association

Baraka Community Association’s primary objective is to advance education, relieve poverty, promote good health and wellbeing, and provide recreational and cultural activities to promote successful integration of children and young people from ethnic minority backgrounds into the wider society

Established in 2000, we’re an organisation driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation of support. 

Baraka Community Association provides educational support, field trips, advocacy and other services to young people and families in west London.

Our aim is to support young people as they develop into healthy, socially engaged, confident adults and improve educational and  employment prospects.

Our work is focused on young people from ethnic minority backgrounds, including British – Somali community.

We aim to advance the welfare and integration communities, and we concentrate on those who live in the London boroughs of Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster, Hammersmith & Fulham and Brent.
