Informal English classes aimed at hard-to-reach and isolated adults, whose lack of English language skills disadvantages them in everyday life. Led by Richmond EAL Friendship Group, a small local charity established in 2001. Their approach challenges the traditional barriers of religion, language, ethnicity and economic status which prevents social integration.
This has resulted in long-term friendships and collaboration between individuals from different backgrounds. Every Wednesday 10am - 12noon at Mortlake Hall (term time only)
