Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland's Pre-Retirement Course for Employers helps organisations support staff through retirement planning with confidence. The course can be delivered as bespoke in-house workshops at your site across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, or as virtual sessions via Teams or Zoom. It is designed for employers who want to equip their employees with practical, up-to-date information about retirement, pensions, income, and legal considerations. The course covers pensions and retirement income, tax considerations, savings and investments, estate planning (wills and lasting powers of attorney), and life beyond work, including planning for post-retirement activities. Delivered by carefully selected local solicitors, independent financial advisers and health professionals, the workshops combine clear explanations with interactive case studies and practical exercises. Outcomes include increased staff understanding of retirement options, better financial planning skills, and a personal action plan for retirement. Open courses are available, as well as in-house sessions tailored to your organisation's needs. Costs vary by delivery mode: fixed price of £2,175 + VAT for up to 16 delegates if delivered at your site, or £1,880 + VAT for up to 16 delegates if delivered virtually via Teams or Zoom.
