**Wander Women: Outdoor Experiences for Women** Join us for enriching outdoor experiences designed to boost confidence and foster inner calm. These sessions are specifically for all women—including those who identify as women, female or trans women, as well as individuals who are intersex or non-binary with more feminine traits. **Event Details:** - **Location**: West Ham Park (and Eastbrookend Country Park starting June) - **Frequency**: Twice a month - **Age Requirement**: 18 and over - **Cost**: Free for Social Prescribing referrals (use the password: UCredit when booking on Eventbrite) **Upcoming Sessions:** 1. **Tuesday, 10 June**: **Relax in Nature** - Enjoy nature while making pine needle hand scrub and soda to take home. Bring a jar/bottle for transporting liquids. 2. **Tuesday, 24 June**: **Fairisle Rope Basket Making** - Engage in the endangered craft of basket-making while relaxing in hammocks. 3. **Tuesday, 1 July**: **Natural Art** - Create nature-inspired artworks, exploring techniques like Hapa Zome. 4. **Tuesday, 8 July**: **Whittling Wood** - Learn wood carving techniques to create a decorative fox head bookmark. **Post-Summer Sessions**: Activities will resume in September; check back in July for details. **Access Information:** This event takes place entirely outdoors. The site features gravel paths with varying stone sizes and some gentle slopes. A wooden seating area is available, suitable for wheelchairs but limited on back support. Note that conditions can become slippery when wet. Activities might require grip strength and fine motor skills, but adaptations can be made.
